Library in Hampshire.

A new town library for Hampshire County Council built in the manner of a Romanesque basilica with a tall central space and lower aisles to the side, enabling high-level natural light into the centre of the deep-plan building. The building features special terracotta fern-leaf capitals at the entrance and decorative brick features. The library won the Brick Development Association, Quality in Brickwork Award, Southern Region Winner in 1987.
