Hampshire: Arts and Crafts farm house.
A new farmhouse designed in an Arts and Crafts manner, using materials typical to the locality and local craftsmanship. The informal layout is arranged along a long gallery hall for the display of the clients’ art collection and for large formal dinners. Flint, brick and limestone have been used for the elevations, with the flint laid in a special bond. The windows are in green oak which is also used for the hall structure, where it has moved and twisted as anticipated, adding natural character to the space.
