An extension to the renovation of an important medieval farmhouse with a dramatically contrasting design. A new drawing room and sitting room could not be accommodated in the existing building and an extension of the same size would have compromised the historic building. The large single-storey extension forms a distinct pavilion facing away from the house. Its dramatic setting is enhanced with special terracotta capitals and stone finials.
