As one of the recognised architects for the redevelopment of central Beirut, Robert Adam joined with a colleague, Fadlallah Dagher of Dagher Hanna & Partners, to work on his competition-winning design for a mixed-use building on an important corner site is the centre of the city. Simple stone street facades come together on a prominent corner, which combines modern materials with decorative features characteristic of the distinctive classicism of historic Beirut.
